A dark comedy—or, at least a dusty one.

Kansas City, Mo. (June 12, 2013) When a dust storm darkens the westbound train, a murder happens and everyone is groping for their alibis! "Death in the Dustbowl", starring Erik J. Pratt, Philip blue owl Hooser, and Joshua Gleeson, is the next stop on The Mystery Train line! The summer show opens June 28 and runs through August 18. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 pm, and alternating Sunday shows at 5:30 pm in area restaurants. If dishing the dirt is your favorite pastime, come stir things up!

Death in the Dustbowl -- Two hobos hop a train in 1935, only to find themselves headed for disaster! Not only does a dust storm loom on the horizon, but a killer is loose on the train. Will the black blizzard cover the tracks of the murderer? Or can the bums solve the crime before they're ridden out on a rail?

Murder mystery dinner theater is presented as a live interactive game, but not everyone is as they appear: one of them may be an accomplice to murder—or even the murderer himself! Check in with the Matron of the Station when you arrive and get in the line-up. Then, get ready for a marvelous meal and some murder-mystery-mayhem!

The "train car" is located within The Golden Ox, downtown KC, Californos Westport, or at The Hereford House Zona Rosa. Cost is $64 on Friday and Saturday, and $54 each on Thursday and Sunday. (No show on July 4th) A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling The Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222, or online at www.kcmysterytrain.com See our website for a complete schedule.
The Mystery Train offers group rates and is also available for private parties.
